For my DS4 ( Design Studio 4 ) class, we had to rebrand KWRL. I created new logos that take inspiration from the word “Library” with the use of books as the primary unit. The simple shape is a nod to Knoll’s emphasis on clean lines and anti-ornamentation. Helvetica Neue remains the same typeface that Knoll uses, because the fresh look of the colorful stacked books adds a new warm feeling to the typeface.
